With a world population of around 10 billion people in 2050, and the pressure on our natural resources, the mission of North Sea Greens is to take care that we can continue to eat in a sustainable way. For this they go back to the basis, back to sea, where life once began. With their 100% biologically grown seaweed, North Sea Greens aims to make the world a healthier place. All their seaweed is grown or harvested around North-Western Europe, around the North Sea.
Jan & Jaap designed a new visual identity, website and packaging that shows the variety that seaweed has to offer. The basis of the identity is divided in three elements, the sky, sea and the land. The seaweed is harvested by the seaweed farmer on sea, below the sky, to North Sea Greens, then North Sea greens delivers the product to the consumer, on the land. The color palette combines the natural of the sky and the sea, with vibrant colors, from the culture of the seaweed farmers, that palette stays close to the process and the product.
